Woman Of The Year
was the first pairing of Kate and Spencer Tracy. Right from the start
they were equals and Kate fell madly in love. Kate plays a professional
woman who is an international affairs columnist, Tess Harding. Spencer
playing Sam Craig a sportswriter for the same newspaper as Tess is
wonderful at toppling her off her lofty pedestal and bringing out
the woman in her. This is the ultimate "opposites attract"
film and its obvious that they were destined to be paired again in
film, as well as, in life.
