7/1/07 - New look for this Garbo site. I've redesigned it hoping it will be more appealing, if that could ever be the case with Garbo. I've included more photos and lots of movie clips from such films as "Flesh and the Devil, Anna Christie, Anna Karenina, Camille, Conquest, Grand Hotel and Mata Hari in the new film clips section. I have all the clips in streaming and downloadable format. The downloads are formatted for an Ipod.

6/20/07 - Los Angeles Downtown Times - article about showing of Flesh and the Devil called, Silence of the Garbo, A Night at the Conservancy's Last Remaining Seats, Plus a 1926 Blog by Howard Leff. The film was presented as part of the L.A. Conservancy's "Last Remaining Seats" series.

5/11/06 - Kino video is releasing on June 6th the new restored version on DVD of Garbos first important film The Saga of Goesta Berling. This DVD is the restored version of the film, 184 minutes unlike previous versions on VHS and was restored by the Swedish Film Institute and will be accompagnied by a new musical score. There will be extras as well including extracts from Garbos first film the comedy Luffar Peter, the advertisements she did at the department store PUB in Stockholm as well as footage archive with some images of Garbo after a visit in Sweden. The film can ne pre-ordered on the web site of Kino international as well as amazon.com.

Turner Classic Movies. Look for her films to be shown on Tuesdays all month.
