Wuthering Heights, 1939 written by Emily Bronte and directed by William Wyler, starring Lawrence Olivier, Merle Oberon, David Niven and Geraldine Fitzgerald and many other fine character actors. Even though this adaptation is not true to the novel (only goes half way through the book) and changes the period in which the story takes place, I think it is a film that I will always love to watch. It's on TV often so, check it out.
