Orphée, 1949, gorgeous allegorical fantasy in which the legend of Orpheus is retold as if it takes place in post war France. Directed by Jean Cocteau and starring Jean Marais it gives a surrealistic picture of the story complete with a stunning journey through the Underworld. I love to watch the sets. If you like Cocteau's, Beauty and the Beast, you will love this.
