Human Bondage Somerset Maugham's classic is very handsomely and features a break through performance by the Bette Davis as the heartless heartbreaker Mildred Rogers. There have been other versions made of this famous novel, but none produced quite the same effect as it did for this version. Leslie Howard is excellent as the weak Philip Carey. The Cast includes:
